In addition to performing, Dr. Chang, a RCM examiner and certified teacher, is also passionate to work with students of all ages.  She strongly believes in the creativity of each individual musician.  She wishes to guide every student to becoming an unique musician.

    Megan specializes in the music of Franz Liszt, to hear and deliver his music orchestrally on the piano.  In addition, she has an extensive knowledge of the Royal Conservatory exam system, local and national festivals and/or competitions, and preparation for post-secondary auditions.

    Each year, student recitals are held a community church to provide more performance opportunities for students and to share music with others. Each month, Megan’s students gives regular performances at the various local retirement residences to connect the generations with the art of music.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Chang also provides RCM mock exams in person or virtually. This will provide a chance for students outside of her studio to have a chance to experience what it is like going through an exam with the Royal Conservatory of Music. She also provides consultations for piano teachers across North America who may have questions in regards to the examination process or how to prepare their students for the exams.

Currently, Megan is no longer accepting new students. However, please consider these teachers who are all very acquainted with Dr. Chang’s teaching style and shares the same passion as her.
